Experience

My background is in law, specialising in technology. My interests encompass a diverse range of fields, including digital to biotechnologies, consciousness studies, psychedelics, neuroscience, linguistics, the arts, ethics and philosophy. These interests are continually expanding and evolving as I navigate through life. 

I am passionate about exploring the convergence of technology, society, and the human experience.

In addressing societal challenges and 21st-century issues, I believe that a holistic, multidisciplinary approach is essential for developing effective and robust solutions.

  • 2023 - 2024

    Support product team in start-up/development phase to develop ethical and privacy preserving offerings for clients.

    Translate complex technical processes to executives and potential investors.

    Defined how products and technologies can best designed to be beyond compliant whilst ensuring projects achieve desired outcomes.

  • 2019 - 2020

    Developed and advised large multinational clients on their trademark, copyright, and patent issues, providing them with legal insight and strategies on available enforcement options.

    Liaised with product development team to enrich AI/ML algorithms based on professional needs.

    Managed multiple project streams, engaged various stakeholders and support teams to ensure that client demands and strategic objectives are executed in a timely manner.

    Gathered evidence to aid in the creation of the Map of Facts for the Public Hearing at the Peace Palace.

    Identified, investigated, and analysed criminal networks through collaboration with law enforcement and prepared extensive reports on data collected.

    Devised new strategies for the compilation and presentation of collected evidence.

  • The EU-funded TwinERGY project introduces a new digital twin framework for the energy market. It incorporates the required intelligence for optimising demand response at the local level without compromising the well-being of consumers and their daily schedules and operations. The project ensures that a wide range of consumers/prosumer interests are be represented and supported in the energy marketplace. Key use cases were be trialled in four pilot regions, and the project will develop, configure, and integrate an innovative suite of tools, services and applications for consumers.

  • The Trust Framework is a set of trust components worked out into deployable principles. It’s designed for EdTech Founders, that want to build a long-lasting, trustworthy business with a perpetual positive effect on (public) education.

  • AI4PublicPolicy was a joint effort of policymakers and Cloud/AI experts to unveil AI’s potential for automated, transparent and citizen-centric development of public policies. To this end, the project sought to deliver, validate, demonstrate and promote a novel Open Cloud platform (i.e. AI4PublicPolicy platform) for automated, scalable, transparent and citizen-centric policy management based on unique AI technologies. The AI4PublicPolicy platform was an Open Virtualized Policy Management Environment (VPME) that will provide fully-fledged policy development/management functionalities based on AI technologies such as Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), NLP and chatbots, while leveraging citizens’ participation and feedback.

  • The EU-funded DigiCirc project allowed SMEs to leverage digital technology as a key enabler for innovative circular products, services and business models to meet the goals that EU circular economy policies set. The project established and coordinated the DigiCirc innovation network, bringing together a wide range of stakeholders. This ecosystem established the foundation for an integrated, dynamic and cross-border/sector open space for innovation performed through the DigiCirc accelerators that were managed by innovation specialists able to transform validated concepts into solid business models towards a commercial launch.
